At The School of Civil Celebrancy, we understand the importance of protecting the environment and reducing the impact our work has on the world around us. As a modern training provider, we are committed to making thoughtful and responsible choices wherever possible.
One of the key decisions we made as a training school was to deliver much of our teaching and learner support through Zoom and our online learning portal. This approach helps significantly reduce unnecessary travel for both learners and tutors, lowering fuel consumption and carbon emissions. It also removes or greatly reduces the need for hotel accommodation and overnight stays during training, helping to lessen environmental impact while reducing costs for learners.
We believe online learning can still provide a warm, supportive, and personal learning experience, while allowing students to study in the comfort of their own homes and around existing commitments.
The school’s main office is also powered, where possible, by solar and other renewable energy sources, helping us further reduce our environmental impact and energy consumption.
As part of our wider commitment to sustainability, we also aim to:
Celebrancy is about people, compassion, community, and care. We believe caring for the environment should also form part of that responsibility.
We continue to review our working practices and look for practical ways to become more environmentally conscious as our school grows.
