The School of Civil Celebrancy (SOCC) prides itself on:

• More than 30 years’ experience in training and assessment.
• Trained and assessed over a 1000 learners.
• Over 15 years working full-time in the celebrant industry.
• A fully qualified team holding the
  • TAQA (Teaching, Assessment and Quality Assurance) teaching, assessment and IQA qualifications
  • NOCN Level 3 Certificate in Civil Celebrancy.
  • NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy.
  • NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Celebrancy: Naming & Couples Ceremonies.

We are also members of the AOIC which is the Association of Independent Celebrants and follow the Celebrant Accord.

At the School of Civil Celebrancy, we believe it’s important that each learner feels supported and guided along their journey to gain their chosen formal RQF qualification in Civil Celebrancy. However, the learner is responsible for the completing the course within the allotted time, using our customised learner’s portfolio education system.
